"A very Nice Place To Camp:
The campground is a very nice, clean place with good sized spaces. There is a
pool and shower facility that is always kept up. There is a nice family lounge
with TV and some interesting historical objects from Colonial Williamsburg. The
wireless Internet is also a big plus. I will say yes there are trains but at
one point in this country’s history the train was the backbone of our nation.
They only come once in a while and do not cause that much of a disturbance.
Also the owners Chris and Ray are more than happy to do whatever is needed to
make your stay memorable. This campground has been in Williamsburg for many
years and Passed down through the generations in the same family. I highly
recommend it if you are going to be in the area."

We chose this park because it was rated highly in the
2005 Trailer Life guide, and we are glad we did. The smoking is not a problem
in the office as we had read in previous posts here. It is now a "non-smoking"
office which appeared to be very neat and clean. The staff was extremely
helpful and courteous. Pool and bath houses were clean. With the train on one
side and a road on the other, this campground can be noisy at times. Sites are well
maintained but are slightly narrow. Good tree shading. We enjoyed our visit and
will probably camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
